On March.27, 2013, Dr Ghassem Asrar, Director of the World Climate Research Programme(WCRP), visited SCSIO and delivered a wonderful speech entitled " Role of the research in global development ", under the invitation of LTO. Prof. Dongxiao WANG,deputy director of SCSIO hosted the visit. Prof. Yan DU, Prof. Qian LI, Prof. Yupin GUAN and Prof. Dingtian YANG and other 30 faculties and students attended the speech.
